Merge PDFs online (client-side)
This PDF merge tool combines multiple PDF files into a single document. It’s designed for quick, privacy-friendly merging: the files are processed locally in your browser, so you don’t need an account and you don’t upload documents to a server for merging.
How to merge PDF files
1) Upload multiple PDFs
Choose two or more PDF files. Each PDF’s pages will be copied into the merged document in the order shown.
2) Drag to reorder
Use drag-and-drop to reorder files before merging. The list also includes Up/Down controls for keyboard-friendly reordering. Getting the order right is important for invoices, scan batches, chapters, and multi-part reports.
3) Merge and download
Click “Merge PDFs” to generate the combined file, then download the merged PDF. The output filename is set to merged.pdf, but you can rename it after downloading.
Tips
- If a PDF is password-protected, it may fail to load. Unlock it first and try again.
- Large PDFs may take longer on mobile devices. Try merging smaller batches if needed.
- If you need to extract specific pages, use our PDF Tools page for splitting.
Privacy and performance
Merging happens client-side using a lightweight PDF library and only runs when you click merge. That keeps the page fast and helps protect Core Web Vitals. Your PDFs stay on your device during the merge process.

Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?
Yes. Drag-and-drop to reorder, or use the Up/Down buttons for keyboard-friendly reordering.
Why did merging fail for my PDF?
Password-protected/encrypted PDFs or corrupted files may fail to load. Try unlocking the PDF first or re-exporting it from the source app.
